Twin City Motel began, as the name suggests, as a small independent motel — the kind of honest roadside stop that travellers remember fondly. These days it is also a travel journal, where we write up what the years on the road taught us about driving somewhere good and sleeping somewhere decent when you arrive.
We are road people first. Between us we have driven more miles than we care to add up, stayed in every kind of place from the excellent to the unspeakable, and worked out a few things worth passing on. Occasionally we trade the car for a plane and a bigger trip, and we write about that too.
